It is our pleasure to introduce you to Greenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 36-bed, privately-owned, long-term care facility located at 90 Greenwood Street in Wakefield, MA.  Our facility is certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and we are proud of the fact that we consistently rate highly on CMS’s Nursing Home Ratings Report.

 

We know the cost of long-term care can seem startlingly high, but, here at Greenwood, our first and foremost concern is the quality of care and the support we provide our residents.  Our daily room rates are significantly less than the rates at other comparable facilities because we strongly feel that cost should not be the deciding factor over whether your loved one receives high-quality care.

 

Besides the cost, what sets Greenwood apart from most other nursing homes is our comfortable setting. Greenwood was originally founded in a private residence and to this day, it maintains the comfort, charm and familiarity of a home.  Because of our smaller, more intimate setting, our residents get to know each other and the staff well, often developing friendships that last for many years.

 

Our dedicated staff of medical professionals, which includes physicians, nurses, and social workers, makes sure to focus on the individual, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents.  Whether it’s Long-Term Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation or Respite Care, our team will provide an individualized plan of care to meet each person’s unique needs.
